Boo!

Did I scare you? What do you think of my hat? I thought I'd go
with the wizard look to tell you my stories. My name is Spot, and I have a very unusual hobby. I'm a ghost hunter! Well, I try to be anyway. Actually, It's not even my choice because I can see ghosts all the time! While you humans go chasing all over the place trying to get a "Feeling," all I have to do is look under the bed, or step into my doghouse to find something spooky. Yes, my doghouse is haunted, but's that's not the only place I can find ghosts. I've had some very strange things happen to me! |
It all started when I was a puppy, and a ghost moved into my doghouse. I didn't like that one bit!
The nerve of that guy, just invading my space like that. I'd like to say that I've gotten rid of him, but I can't. He's still there, and I sleep under Darryl's bed at night. What? Who's Darryl? Oh, I guess I had better tell you more about my family and where I live. |
I live in a two story house in Houston, TX with my human family. Technically I belong to Darryl, who
is the youngest of three brothers. Darryl is 8 years old. His brothers are Jesse, age 11, and Matt, age 13. You'd think they'd be more mature since they were older, but let me assure you, they are not! They're pranksters, and are always getting me in trouble with their Dad. He is a single parent, and so far as I can see, he does a pretty good job. For the most part the house stays clean, and the kitchen only gets stinky on Saturdays because Sunday is "cleaning day." That's the day we all hate the worst. |
Living in Houston is great, but let me tell you, there sure are a lot of ghosts! Pretty much
everywhere you look is a spook or two. Trust me, I would know! And so would my best friend Bacon, who is a brown chihuahua that lives next door. He's a good friend, and I like to go over there on cleaning day (because everyone is in a bad mood at home), and also when Grandma comes to visit because she scares me. She's never done anything, or said anything mean to me, but there's something odd about her. She stops in every now and then when she comes into town. She's a truck driver, and everytime she visits, she brings the boys a rock from the last weird place she's passed through. She also checks their collections, to make sure they've kept them. Let's just say she's a little bossy, and leave it at that. Dad doesn't seem to notice. I guess he's used to it. |
So that's the important background stuff I guess. Now we can get to the stories!
